The Master’s Touch

Ah! The Master’s touch is a touch of love, joy, peace, and healing. The key to this song is the meaning of love. I’m talking about unselfish love. I believe that today many people do not know the true meaning of love. Love that is beyond the physical experience of acceptance that one is a unique person created in the image of God and full of potential. It is what’s inside our hearts that comes out to reflect who we are. When one is subject to harsh authoritarian treatment it is hard to see love. Even in a harsh environment we can see the love of God. In fact, God saved me in just this kind of environment. You begin to see with new eyes when you look at the person who is abusing is unhappy with their own life.

I did not realize that the pain and suffering of abuse really affects both persons, the one who is abused and the abuser. Today, we rarely see humility, it simply does not appeal to us. But when you witness it, it does something to you. It brings forgiveness. The human race needs forgiveness through the love of the Son of God.
