MUSICAL HISTORY

Inge, a singer-songwriter, now classified as a musical artist, works out of her home studio creating musical compositions. Inge started her music education at age nine, playing the accordion. She later joined the choir and the Advanced Band at Oxford Junior High School in Anaheim, California, in the 70’s.

In 1973, Inge became involved in an evangelistic group from the Seventh Day Adventist Church that sang songs at train depots as well as downtown street corners in the city of Perth, Western Australia. This was her first experience of being thrust into evangelistic outreach ministry. The group sang gospel songs such as “Try a Little Kindness” and “Heaven Came Down and Glory Filled My Soul.”

In the summer of 1974, Inge participated in the Seattle All-City Band that performed for the Seattle Seafair Torchlight Parade. The Band also performed at Expo 1974 in Spokane, Washington. In the fall of 1974, in her senior year at Kent Meridian High School, she traded in her faithful clarinet at Green River Music for a Yamaha Classical guitar.
At Kent Meridian High, Inge performed her first solo singing a John Denver tune while playing her Yamaha Classical guitar in a special school music program. Inge self-taught herself on beginning classical style picking and basic chord progressions. Later, while attending the Missionary Alliance Church, she wrote her first composition titled “Lasting Love”. This was the beginning of songwriting for Inge.
Inge assumed the position of entertainment coordinator for Kent Cornucopia Days during the years of 1987 to 1993. During this time, she has sung at numerous venues throughout King and Pierce County in Washington State.

Inge ended up as Chapel Ministry Leader at a men’s homeless shelter at the Bread of Life Mission in Seattle, Washington. Inge organized speakers, testimonials, and performed Gospel music monthly until the year of 2011. She then began to work on a Gospel album titled “Send the Light, saving and transferring songs from cassette and reel to reel to digital format using Propellerhead Reason music software.

Reason Studio software is a music production software used to create music for home studios.
